On Collectibles Auction Asia (CAA) Coins & Banknotes Auction No. 6/2015 auction day (Sunday), as scheduled, all CAA auction committee members were arrived at the Landmark Village Hotel Level 6, Quartz Room at 8.30am. We were ready with all auction items at 9.30am to start the CAA 6/2015 Auction.

All the 22 pieces of Malay States Sultanate Gold coinages listed for auction were bidded by the same bidder. He was also the same bidder who bidded 11 lots (out of 12 lots) of Malay States Sultanate Gold coinages in our CAA Coins & Banknotes Auction No. 5/2015 in last April.

The morning session of Collectibles Auction Asia (CAA) Coins & Banknotes Auction No. 6/2015 hit its peak when the  Malaysia, 1966/67, the unissued, unrecorded, uniface trial pattern, Copper-Nickel and Bronze set of 10 coins, with reverse bear the Royal mint mark. All graded by NGC. These Patterns are not more than 4 sets in existence was realized at SGD210,000.00

The indicative price was set at  SGD180,000, the first INTERNET Bidder was SGD185,000 followed by a (Absentee Bid) Competing Bidder bidded at SGD190,000. Then the  INTERNET Bidder bid again at SGD195,000,  (Absentee Bid) Competing Bidder bidded at SGD200,000, the INTERNET Bidder tried his luck at SGD205,000,  the (Absentee Bid) Competing Bidder decided to go for SGD210,000. After waited for almost 1.5 minutes, the auctioneer decided to hammer down and realized at SGD210,00.00 to the absentee bidder.

The next Collectibles Auction Asia (CAA) Coins & Banknotes Auction No.7/2016 (Singapore) will be held at the same venue in Singapore on 23rd. April.2016.
Dickson Niew Collection at No.58, Jalan SS14/2, SS14, Subang Jaya, 47500, Selangor, Malaysia was chosen to be the collection center in Malaysia for items to be auction in CAA 7/2016 (Singapore).
